A day at work

I started off with an idea of "a father brings their kids to work for a day." The kids are in the lobby playing with red, shiny, bouncy balls. Because the dad is busy working, he doesn't realize the risk of them playing in the lobby could cost him his job. In the end, their father goes to the copy room. Once he comes back, he sees that they have trashed the lobby and is shocked that he will end up possibly losing his job.

Game Over

My partner Levi Anderson and I created a short animation about a bear going to an arcade and winning a race in a racing game. In the beginning, there is an illusion that the bear is actually in a real race in order to give you a childlike perspective on how an arcade game feels through a kid's eyes. We used the skills we learned in animation 1 and 2 in order to create a 30 second short animated film. By working together we learned how to communicate our ideas and bring them together to create the perfect short animation.

Materials

In Animation 1 I learned how to add different materials to objects to give them a more mature look.

Squash and Stretch

In Animation 1 I learned how to squash and stretch my name in Maya, add a material to my name and help create a personality for each letter.

Animation 2

Stop Motion

In Animation 2 I learned how to create a stop motion using a white board and Expo marker. I then edited the video to improve the look of my work.
